RESOLUTION NO. 1962
A RESOLUTION OF THE OTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE CONFIRMING THE REPORT OF TIlE
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS AND LEVYING ASSESSMENT
FOR THE INSTALLATION OF CONCRETE CURBS, GlJITERS,
SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAY APRONS AND DRIVEWAY CON-
FORMANCE
WHEREAS, pursuant to the ptovWons of the "Improvement Act of 1911", being Division 7 of
the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the Superintendent of Streets did, on the
11th day of October, 1985, oodly the owners or persons in possession of those certain propenies within
the City of Arroyo Grande, California, located as follows:

to cause cenain installation of curbs, gutters, driveway aptons and driveway conformance to be made
adjacent to the hereinahove propeny; that some owners or persons in possession, so notified, failed and
neglected to cause said installation to be made; and that the Superintendent of Streets proceed to have
said installation done and made at a total cost of Four 'Thousand Four HWKlred Fifty-Two and Fifty-
Five Cents ($4,452.55).
WHEREAS, said Superintendent of Streets, upon the completion of said installation, filed with
this City Council his report upon said installation and costs thereof, and gave notice to the owners or
persons in possession of said ptoperties hereinabove referred to, in the time, foan and manner
prescribed by law, that the hour of 8:00 P.M. on the 27th day of May, 1986, was the hour fixed for
hearing upon said report; and evidence having been received thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE,IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE OTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE, AS FOLWWS:
SECTION 1: 1hat all notices have been given as provided by law and required by the
provisions of the "hnprovement Act of 1911" and that the report of the Superintendent of Streets upon
the installation be, and it is hereby confirmed.
SECTION 2: 1hat an assessment in the amount of $3,738.55, representing the installation
made by the Superintendent of Streets against the propenies hereinabove described is hereby made and
confirmed; and the Superintendent of Streets is hereby directed to notify such owners or persons in
possession of said propenies of said assessment.
On motion of Councilmeni>er Gallagher, seconded by CounciJmember Johnson, and on the
following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Mayor Smith and CounciJmembers Gallagher, Johnson, Moots and Poner
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Ordinance was passed and adopted on the 27th day of May, 1986.
