RESOLUTION NO. 1954
A RESOLUTION REPEALING RESOLUTION 1951 WHICH DECLARED
INTENTION TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC NUISANCE
HEARING FOR THE PREMISES AT 381 CORBETT
CANYON ROAD UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF
ORDINANCE NO. 309 C.S.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 1951 stated certain provisions of the City's
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance and/or Building Code may have been violated
at 381 Corbett Canyon Road; and --
WHEREAS, written notices of these violations were given to the subject
property owner on April 17, 1986; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande to hold a public hearing to gather evidence substantiating that
a public nuisance does exist and gave public notice that if the nuisance
was not abated, that the Municipal authorities would, by rehabilitation, ,
repair, demolition, removal or other appropriate actions, mitigate the
nuisance at the expense of the property owner, which would become a lien
against the premises; and
WHEREAS, the subject property owners have mitigated the alleged nuisance,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution No. 1951 of the City
Council of the City of Arroyo Grande is hereby repealed.
On motion of Councilmember Moots, seconded by Councilmember Johnson,
and on the following role call vote, to wit:
AYES:Mayor Smith and Councilmembers Gallagher, Johnson, Moots and
Porter
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 13th day of May,
1986.
