RESOLUTION NO. 1932
A RESOLUTION OF 'IHE CI'IY aJUNCIL OF THE CI'IY OF
ARROYO GRANDE APPROVING USE PERMIT CASE NO. 85-388
AFPLIED FOR BY E-Z EIGHT MOTELS, INe. FOR A FREE
STANDING SIGN AT 555 CAMINO MERCADO IN 'IHE "P-D"
PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Planning Conmission of the Qty of Arroyo Grande has considered an
application for a free standing sign and a secondary sign to be mounted to the building; and
WHEREAS, the Qty CbW1cil fmds that, after due study, deliberation and public
hearing, that the following circurrstances exist:
SECTION 1: 1. A single free standing double-faced sign is sufficient on the
site and all other signs shall be deleted from the application.
2. That the dimensions of the sign shall be 29'11" x 3'10", with
an overall height not to exceed 12 feet. .
3. That the sign as described above is consistent with the
. standards of the Qty of Arroyo Grande and will not adversely
affect abutting properties.
NOW, 'IHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Qty Council of the Qty of Arroyo
Grande hereby approves said Use Permit subject to the appropriate Standard Cbnditions of the
Qty of Arroyo Grande, and the following special condition:
SECTION 2: 1. Hydroseed/plant all cut slopes on the motel [roperty.
Hydroseeding and/or planting shall be subject to the fmel
approval of the Parks and Recreation Director.
On motion of Council Member .1nhnc::nn , seconded by Cbuncil Member
Gallagher ,and carried on the follClNing [vote, to wit:
