R 1928 'J i I r' .c_ U-J RESOLUTION NO. 1928 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA ABANDONING PROCEEDINGS AND REJECTING BIOS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS IN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT PURSUANT TO THE "MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT ACT OF 1913" WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande did, by the l adoption of its Resolution of Intention No. 1896, declare its intent i on to order the construct ion of certa i 11 work and improvements to be done and made pursuant to the terms and provisions of the "Municipal Improvement Act of 1913" being Division 12 of the Streets and Hi ghways Code of the State of California, in a special assessment district known and designated as Assessment District No. 81-1 (hereinafter referred to as the "Assessment District"); and, WHEREAS, at thi s time thi s leg i slat i ve body does not des i re to proceed with the project or the improvements, and is desirous of abandoning the proceedings. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and correct. SECTION 2. That proceedi ngs had and taken under and pursuant to the "Municipal Improvement Act of 1913" , being Division 12 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, for the work and improvements proposed by said Resolution of Intention in the Assessment District be, and the same are hereby ordered to be abandoned. SECTI ON 3. The City Clerk shall immediately record a certified copy of this Resolution of Abandonment with the County Recorder. The certificate attached to said Resolution shall include a reference to the date of the adoption of _this Resolution, the date of the original Resolution of Intention, and the date the map of the Assessment District was previously filed with said County Recorder. SECTI ON 4. All bids received for the works of improvement on the above referenced Assessment District are hereby rejected and it is hereby directed that all bid security checks be returned to the respective bidders.
