A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE ADOPTING THE URBAN
WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
WHEREAS, the California State legislature has passed AB
797, the Urban Water Management Planning Act; and
~JHEREAS , this Act requires that the City of Arroyo
Grande prepare and adopt an Urban Water Management Plan; and
,
WHEREAS, the Urban Water Management Plan prepared by the
City of Arroyo Grande is beneficial to the residents of the
City in planning for the future domestic water needs; and
WHEREAS, the Urban Water Management Plan for Arroyo
Grande contains recommendations on how to meet future domestic
water needs; and
WHEREAS, the Urban Water Management Plan for Arroyo
Grande meets the requirements of AB 797; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing to discuss the Draft Plan was
advertised for and held on December 18, 1985.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED by the City Council of
the City of Arroyo Grande, that the Urban Water Management
Plan for Arroyo Grande is adopted and sha 11 be filed with the
State Department of Water Resources.
On motion of Council Member Porter, seconded by Counci I
Member Gallagher, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES:Mayor Smith and Council Members Gallagher, Moots and
Porter
NOES:None
ABSENT:Council Member Johnson
The foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted the 18th day
of December, 1985.
