RESOLUTION NO. 1923
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE RECOMMENDING
APPROVAL OF USE PERMIT CASE NO. 85-402
APPLIED FOR BY FESTIVAL ENTERPRISES
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo
Grande has considered an appl ication. for a Use Permit, filed by
Festival Enterprises in accordance with Sec. 9-4.3102 of the
M~nicipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Commission finds that, after due ~tudy,
deliberation and public hearing, the following circumstances
exist:
1 . The nature of the enterprise is conducive to the welfare
of the City of Arroyo Grande. ....
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered an ~pplication for
a Use Permit, filed by Festival Enterprises in accordance with
Sec. 9-4.3102 of the Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council found that, after due study,
deliberation and public hearing, th at the findings of the
Planning Commission were consistent with City policy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Arroyo .Grande hereby recommends approval of said Use
Permit subject to the following ,pecial conditions recommended by
the Planning Commission:
1-. Appropriate Standard Conditions of the City of Arroyo
Grande.
2. Submission of a landscaping plan subject to review and
approval of the Parks and Recreation Director.
3. Drainage swale on the northerly edge of the two lane
road between the theater and Oak Park Acres be paved in the event
~his matter is not resolved with the Rancho Grande project.
On motion of Council Member Moots, seconded by Council
Member Johnson, and by the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Mayor Smith and Council Members Johnson, Moots and Po\'ter
NOES: Mayor Pro Tem Gallagher'
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 10th day of Decemb.er,
1985.
