RESOLUTION NO. 1922
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE ELIMINATING A TIVO-HOUR PARKING ZONE
IN A PORTION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE "CAR
CORRAL" PARKING LOT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande is, per
Section 22519 of the State of California Vehicle Code, authorized to
regulate the parking of vehicles on City off-street parking facilities;
and
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to eliminate the two-
hour (2 hour) parking in a portion of the "Car Corral" on Branch Street,
more particularly described below;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande, as follows:
That hereafter, eliminate the two-hour (2 hour) limited parking
is established on all parking spaces within the following des-
cribed.area:
Beginning at a point along the Northerly line of East Branch Street,
said point being 145 feet NortheasterIy of the intersection of the
Northerly line of East Branch Street and the Easterly line of Nevada
Street; thence Northwesterly 75 feet along the SoutheasterIy line
of Car Corral; thence Northeasterly 25 feet, the true point of
beginning; thence Northeasterly 70 feet, containing 4 parking
spaces.
Please refer to attached Exhibit A for a pictorial representation
of the above described area.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of
Arroyo Grande be, and he is hereby authorized to take out the signs and/
or markings that indicate the two-hour (2 ) hours only.
On motion of Council Member Moots, seconded by CounciI
Member Johnson , and on the folIowing roll calI vote, to wit:
AYES: Mayor Pro Tem Gallagher, and Council Members Johnson, Moots and Porter
NOES: None
ABSENT: Mayor Smith
