RESOLUTION NO. 1894
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A
"NO PARKING" ZONE ON A PORTION OF EAST
BRANCH STREET (214 EAST BRANCH STREET)
(MUNICIPAL CODE 4-3.05).
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parkin9 on
a portion of East Branch Street, as specifically described below.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE, AS FOLLOWS:
That a "No Parking" zone be established on the Southerly
frontage of East Branch Street extending from a point along
the Southerly right of way line from a point 34 feet
Westerly of the intersection of East Branch Street with
the Westerly right of way of Mason Street extending along
said Southerly right of way line of East Branch Street
a length of 44 feet to a point which lies 78 feet
Westerly of said intersection of East Branch Street with
the Westerly right of way of Mason Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs
and/or markings to indicate said "No Parking" zone.
On motion of Council Member Gallagher, seconded by Council Member
Johnson, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Gallagher, Johnson, Porter, and Mayor Smith
NOES:None
ABSENT: Council Member Moots
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 22nd day of October,
1985.
