RESOLUTION NO. 1887
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A
"NO PARKING" ZONE ON A PORTION OF FAIR
OAKS AVENUE, (330 TRAFFIC WAY -fAIR OAKS
FRONTAGE AND 126 TO 202 FAIR OAKS AVENUE)
(MUNICIPAL CODE 4-3.05).
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking on a por-
tion of Fair Oaks Avenue, as specifically described below.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE, AS FOLLOWS:
That a "No Parking" zone be established on the northerly
frontage of Fair Oaks Avenue beginning from the point of
intersection of the westerly right of way line of Traffic
Way and the northerly right of way line of Fair Oaks Avenue
extending along said northerly right of way line of Fair
Oaks Avenue a length of 400 feet to a point with its inter-
section with the easterly right of way line of U.S. 101.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs
and/or markings to indicate said "No Parking" zone.
On motion of Council Member Gallagher, seconded by Council Member
Moots, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Gallagher, Johnson, Moots, Porter and Mayor Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 10th day of September, 1985.
