RESOLUTION NO. 1886
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A
"NO PARKING" ZONE ON A PORTION OF GRAND
AVENUE, (710 GRAND AVENUE) (MUNICIPAL
CODE 4-3.05).
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking on a por.
tion of Grand Avenue, as specifically described below.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE, AS FOLLOWS:
That a "No Parking" zone be established on the Northerly
frontage of Grand Avenue extending from a point along the
Northerly right of way line from a point 104 feet Westerly
of the intersection of Grand Avenue with the Westerly
right of way of Alpine Street extending along said Northerly
right of way line of Grand Avenue a length of 30 feet to a
point which lies 134 feet Easterly of said intersection of
Grand Avenue with the Westerly right of way of Alpine Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs
and/or markings to indicate said "No Parking" zone.
On motion of Council Member Gallagher, seconded by Council Member
Moots, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Gallagher, Johnson, Moots, Porter and Mayor Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 10th day of September, 1985.
