RESOLUTION NO. 1861
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE TERMINATING CITY PARTICIPATION IN
JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT FOR THE SOUTH COUNTY HUMAN
RELATIONS COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Paragraph 6 of that certain Joint Powers Agreement
for the Human Relations Commission for the South San Luis Obispo County, executed
by the City on September 17, 1973, as amended, the City of Arroyo Grande hereby
gives formal notice of its withdrawal from further participation in or sponsor-
ship of the South County Human Relations Commission effective July 1, 1985,
and all duties and obligations arising from said Joint Powers Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE that the City Clerk is hereby directed to send a certified copy of this
Resolution to each of the other parties to said Agreement, namely the City of
Pismo Beach, the City of Grover City, and the Lucia Mar Unified School District.
On motion of Council Member Gallagher, seconded by Council Member Moots,
and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Gallagher, Johnson, Moots, Porter and Mayor Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted on this 25thday of June, 1985.
