RESOLUTION NO. 1858
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABlI SrUNG A
"NO PARKING" ZONE ON A PORTION OF GRAND
AVENUE, (APN-6-164-4) SOUTHWEST CORNER
OF GRAND AVENUE AND ALPINE STREET
(MUNICIPAL CODE 4-3.05).
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking on a
portion of Grand Avenue, as specifically described below;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE, AS FOLLOWS:
That a "No Parking" zone be established on the Southerly
frontage of Grand Avenue extending from a point along the
Southerly right of way line from a point 30 feet Westerly
of the intersection of Grand Avenue with the Westerly
right of way of Alpine Street extending along said Southerly
right of way line of Grand Avenue a length of 45 feet to
a point which lies 75 feet Westerly of said intersection of
Grand Avenue with the Westerly right of way of Alpine Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and is hereby authorized, to provide and install sufficient signs
and/or markings to indicate said "No Parking" zone.
On motion of Counci I Member Gallagher, seconded by Counci I Member Moots,
and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Gallagher, Johnson, Moots, Porter and Mayor Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 11th day of June, 1985.
