RESOLUTI ON NO. 1855
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLI SH I NG A "NO PARK I NG"
ZONE ON A PORTION OF GRAND AVENUE,(704 GRAND
AVENUEl (MUNICIPAL CODE 4-3.05).
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking on a portion
of Grand Avenue, as specifically described below.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE, AS FOLLOWS:
That a "No Parking" zone be establ ished on the Northerly
frontage of Grand Avenue beginning at the point of
intersection of the Northerly right of way line of Grand
Avenue with the Westerly right of way line of Alpine
Street extending Westerly along said Northerly right of
way line to a point 50 feet from said point of intersection.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo Grande
be, and is hereby authorized, to provide and install sufficient signs and/or
markings to indicate said "No Parking" zone.
On motion of Council Member Gallagher, seconded by Council Member Moots,
and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Gallagher, Johnson, Moots, Porter and Mayor Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 11 th day of June, 1985.
