RESOLUTION NO. 1853
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A
"NO PARKI NG" ZONE ON A PORTI ON OF GRAND
AVENUE, (319 GRAND AVENUE)(MUNICIPAL
CODE 4-3.05).
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking on a portion
of Grand Avenue, as specifically described below.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE, AS FOLLOWS:
That a "No Parking" zone be established on the Southerly
frontage of Grand Avenue extending from a point along the
Southerly right of way line from a point 30 feet Easterly
of the intersect him, of Grand Avenue with the Southerly
prolongation of the Easterly right of way of Barnett
Street extending along said Southerly right of way line
of Grand Avenue a length of 25 feet to a point which lies
55 feet ea~terly of said intersection of Grand AVenue with
the Easterly right of way of Barnett Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo Grande
be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs and/or
markings to indicate said "No Parking" zone.
On motion of Counci I Member Gallagher, seconded by Counci I Member Johnson
and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Gallagher, Johnson, Moots, Porter and Mayor Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 11 th day of June 1985.
