A RESOLUTION OF THE CI1Y COUNCIL OF THE CI1Y OF
ARROYO GRANDE RECOGNIZING OU'ISTANDING CONTRI-
BUTION AND PERFORMANCE BY A CI1Y EMPLOYEE.
THE CI1Y COUNCIL OF THE CI1Y OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, this Oty Cbuncil desires to recognize outstanding contriWtions and
perfot'llllIlCeS of Oty EmpJo)'ees; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 1788 (X'Ovides a ~ structure for such recognition and
re\Wl'd; and
WHEREAS, the Oty Manager has nominated .imIes C. aark, Police OIief, for special
recognition due to .imIes C. Oark's extended, exceptional perfOl'l1lll1Ce' as an aarinistrator and
Jaw enforcement officer, and .imIes C. aark's dedication and personal ap(r08Ch to resolving
citizen II'ObJeIm; and
WHEREAS, the Oty Manager reconmended a pemIII1ent wage increase of $164.00 per
IIDIlth as recognition of .imIes c. Oark's performmce;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Oty COUncil of the Oty of Arroyo
Grande (1Iblicly recognizes .imIes C. Oark's achievements, and a\Vlll'dJ a pemIIIlent IIDIlthly wage
increase of $164.00 per 1IDI1th, effective A(ril1, 1985.

the following roll call vote, to wit:
