RESOLUTION NO. 3309
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE APPROVING AN APPUCA TION FOR
FUNDING FOR A HOME-BASED AND SMALL BUSINESS
DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND THE EXECUTION OF A GRANT
AGREEMENT FROM THE PLANNINGITECHNICAL
ASSISTANCE ALLOCATION OF THE STATE CDBG
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City Council of Arroyo Grande has considered an application for funding
a Home-based Small Business Development Plan and Execution of a Grant Agreement
for a CDBG Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande
that:
1. The City Council has reviewed and hereby approves an application for up
to $35,000 for a Home-based Small Business Development Plan.
2. The City Council has determined that federal Citizen Participation
requirements were met during the development of this application.
3. If the application is approved and the City Council accepts the grant, the
City Council hereby approves the use of City funds in the amount of
$5,600 to be used as the City's cash match for this project.
4. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to act on the City's
behalf in all matters pertaining to this application.
5. If the application is approved, the City Manager is authorized to enter into
and sign the grant agreement and any subsequent amendments with the
State of California for the purposes of this grant.
On motion by Council Member Tolley, seconded by Council Member Runels, and by the
following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Tolley, Rune/s, lady, Fuller, and Mayor Dougall
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 14th day of July 1998.
