RESOLUTION NO. 1822
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A BOULEVARD
STOP SIGN AT THE INTERSECTION OF WALNUT
STREET AND FAIR OAKS AVENUE.
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to establish a boulevard
stop sign at the intersection of Walnut Street and Fair Oaks Avenue;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE, AS FOLLOWS:
That a stop sign be placed on Fair Oaks Avenue
at the northeast corner, and southwest corner
of Fair Oaks Avenue and Walnut Street, so as
to stop westbound and eastbound traffic before
crossing Fair Oaks Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and is hereby authorized, to provide and install sufficient
signs and/or markings to indicate said stop signs.
On motion of Council Member Gallagher, seconded by Council Member
Johnson , and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Gallagher, Johnson, Moots, Porter and Mayor Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 22nd day of January 1985.
