RESOLUTI ON NO. 1819
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE HONORING MAYOR
JUANITA QUALLS FOR HER OUTSTANDING
SERVICE TO THE CITY OF GROVER CITY,
CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, JUANITA QUALLS has served the City of Grover City and has
been a valued colleague since 1976; and
WHEREAS, JUAN ITA QUALLS has served as a City Counci I Member since
1976; and
WHEREAS, JUANITA QUALLS has served as the Mayor of Grover City since
1982; and
WHEREAS. JUANITA QUALLS has served on the League of California Cities'
Leisure Services Committee; and
WHEREAS, JUANITA QUALLS has served on the Board of Directors of the
South County Area Transit; and
WHEREAS. JUANITA QUALLS has been involved in various other activities
to further strengthen and improve the community;
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE does recognize her contributions to the City of Grover City
and the residents of the community and the County of San Luis Obispo; and
commends JUANITA QUAlLS on her accomplishments as a devoted citizen; and
wishes continued health and contentment in her future endeavors.
On motion of Council Member Gallagher, ?econded by Council Member
Johnson, and on the following roll call vote. to wit:
AYES: Council Members Gallagher, Johnson, Porter and Mayor Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted the 11th day of December 1984.
