RESOLUTI ON NO. 1815
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLI SH I NG "NO PARKI NG" ZONE
ON A PORTION OF EAST BRANCH STREET (303 EAST
BRANCH STREET IN FRONT OF J.J.'S FOOD COMPANY)
ENCOMPASSING A MINIMUM OF TWO (2) PARKING SPACES,
UNTIL SUCH TIME AS A SIGNAL SYSTEM IS INSTALLED
AT THE INTERSECTION OF E. BRANCH AND MASON STREETS.
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to establ ish a "No Parking"
zone on a portion of East Branch Street, as specifically described below; and
WHEREAS, the No Parking Zone in front of J. J.'s Food Company, and
encompassing a minimum of two parking spaces will be effective until such
time as a signal system is installed at the intersection of E. Branch and
Mason Streets;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE, AS FOLLOWS:
That a No Parking Zone be established on the northerly
frontage of East Branch Street extending from a point
44 feet east of the centerline of the intersection of
North Mason and East Branch Streets, easterly to a
point On the northerly right of way line, 84 feet
easterly of the centerline of the intersection of
North Mason Street and East Branch Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs
and/or markings to indicate said No Parking Zone.
On motion of Council Member Gallagher, seconded by Council Member Johnson,
and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Gallagher, Johnson, Porter and Mayor Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted the 11th day of December 1984.
