RESOLUTION NO. 1814
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE ACCEPTING THE COUNTY CLERK'S CERTIFICATE--
RESUL TS OF CANVASS OF ALL VOTES CAST FOR THE CITY'S
ELECTION FOR MAYOR, CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS, CITY CLERK,
CITY TREASURER AND WRITE-IN VOTES CAST FOR CITY COUNCIL
MEMBERS, HELD ON NOVEMBER 6, 1984, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE STATEWIDE GENERAL ELECTION.
WHEREAS, on November 6, 1984, a General Election was held in the County
of San Luis Obispo; and
WHEREAS, included on the ballot for said General Election was a listing
of candidates for Mayor, City Council Members, City Clerk, and City Treasurer
for the City of Arroyo Grande in their scheduled General Municipal Election;
and
WHEREAS, the Clerk conducting the General Election was the County Clerk
of the County of San Luis Obispo; and
WHEREAS, the County Clerk did in fact conduct said Election and canvass
the returns of the votes cast at said General Election held on November 6,
1 984, i n c 1 ud i ng Write-In votes cast for City Council Members, and provide
said results of canvass to the Office of the City Clerk, City of Arroyo Grande,
a copy of which is attached and incorporated as a part of this document;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande does hereby accept the County Clerk's Certificate - Results of
Canvass of All Votes Cast for the City's General Municipal Election Appearing
on the November 6, 1984, General Election Ballot.
On motion of Council Member Mi 11 is , seconded by Council Member Gallagher,
and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Gallagher, Hogan, Millis, Vandeveer and Mayor Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 4th day of December 1984.
