RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA,
MAKING FINDINGS ON SUPPLEMENTAL PETITION
FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1981-1
WHEREAS, the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA, has instituted
proceedi ngs for the formation of a sped al assessment di strict pursuant to the terms
and provisions of the "Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majori ty
Protest Act of 1931", being Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State
of California, and the provisions of the "Municipal Improvement Act of 1913", being
Division 12 of said Code, and the City has held a public hearing as authorized
pursuant to the provisions of Division 4 for a special assessment district, said
special assessment district known and de~ignated as
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 81-1
(hereinafter referred to as the "Assessment District"); and, -
WHEREAS, at this time a Supplemental Petition for certain additional improvements has
been received, signed by all property owners within the area that would be assessed
for the requested public works of improvement; and,
WHEREAS, it has been reported that said Supplemental Petition does meet the require-
ments of Section 2804 of Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California; and,
WHEREAS, this City Council is now desirous to receive said Supplemental Petition and
authorize that said requested improvements be included as part of the works of
improvement to be constructed under the proceedings for the above-referenced
Assessment District.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and correct.
SECTION 2. That it is hereby found that said Supplemental Petition has been signed
by owners owning land constituting rrore than sixty percent (60%) of all
assessable land within the boundaries of the area included within the
Supplemental Petition.
SECTION 3. That said Supplemental Petition shall be filed with the transcript of
these proceedings and shall remain open to public inspection.
SECTION 4. That said Supplemental Petition meets the requirements of Section 2804 of
Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California,
and further proceedi ngs and 1 i mi tat ions under the provisions of the
, "Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of
1931 " shall not be applicable to the area and improvements included
within said Supplemental Petition.
SECTION 6. This Council hereby further finds and determines, based on written evi-
dence submitted, that the total estimated amount of the proposed assess-
ments will not exceed seventy-five percent (75%) of the estimated fair
market value of the land proposed to be assessed after the proposed
public improvements shall have been constructed.

SECTION 7. That it is hereby further determined and found that said Petition has
been signed all property owners, as specified in Sections 2804 and 2804.1
of tne Streets and Highways Code.
SECTION 8. That the improvements, as requested in said Supplemental Petition, shall
be included in and become a part of the proceedings for the Assessment
District.
