RESOLUTION NO. 1799
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A BOULEVARD STOP SIGN
AT THE INTERSECTION OF THE PIKE AND SOUTH ELM STREET.
WHEREAS, it appea rs neces sa ry and des i rab 1 e to es tab 1 ish a bou 1 eva rd
stop sign at the intersection of The Pike and South E1m Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE, AS FOLLOWS:
That a stop sign be p1aced on The Pike at the northeast
corner and southwest corner of The Pike and South E1m
Street, so as to stop westbound and eastbound traffic
before crossing South Elm Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of P01ice of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and instal1 sufficient signs
and/or markings to indicate said stop signs.
On motion of Counci1man Gallagher, seconded by Counci1man Vandeveer,
and on the f0110wing r011 call vote, to wit:
AYES: Counci1men Gallagher, Mil1is, Vandeveer and Mayor Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: Counci1man Hogan
the foregoing Res01ution was passed and adopted this 11th day of September 1984.
