RESOLUTI ON NO. 1797 .

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE RECOGNIZING OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS
AND PERFORMANCE BY CITY EMPLOYEE ,JOHN RICHARDSON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has adopted
Resolution No. 1788; and

WHEREAS, the Resolution indicates that under certain conditions the City,..,
Council may elect to commend certain City employees for outstanding performance;
and
WHEREAS, during budget proceedings for Fiscal Year 1984/1985, it was the
consensus of the City Council that the Building Department was performing its
necessary functions in a most professiona'l manner; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Inspector, John Richardson, is considered by the City
Council to be the most significant contributor to that operation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council takes this opportunity to
commend John Richardson for his performance as Chief Inspector for the City of
Arroyo Grande and hereby reclassify his salary to Range 38, with the resulting
wage increase effective September 1, 1984. Such reclassification shall not
effect the classification of the Chief Building Inspector as represented in any
existing Memoranda of Understanding.
On motion of Councilman Gal lagher , seconded by Councilman Hoga n , and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Gallagher. Hogan. Killis and Mayor Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Vandeveer
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted on the 28th day of August 1984.
