RESOLUTION NO. 1795
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE APPROVING THE 1984/1985 ANNUAL
TRANSPORTATION CLAIM AND AUTHORIZING ITS
SUBMITTAL TO THE SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY
AREA COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Counci1 of the City of Arroyo Grande
that it makes a finding that there are no unmet pub1ic transportati..on needs
which can be met through expansion of the existing transportation systems,
estab1ishing new transportation systems or by contracting for services from
common carriers and others, pusuant to Article 8 of the Mi11s-A1quist-Deddah
Act.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, in accordance with Chapter 1400, Statutes 1971 and app1itab1e rules
and regu1ations, approves the 1984/1985 Annua1 Transportation C1aim, as per
Exhibit A attached, and authorizes its submittal, a10ng with other documenta-
tion required, to the San Luis Obispo County Area Counci1 of Governments.
On motion of Council Member Hogan, seconded by Council Member
Ga11agher, and on the following ro11 call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Gallagher, Hogan, Mi11is and Mayor Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Vandeveer
the foregoing Res01ution was passed and adopted this 28th day of August 1984.
