RESOLUTION NO. 1786
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLI SH I NG A "NO PARK I NG"
ZONE ON A PORTION OF GRAND AVENUE (LUCKY/PAYLESS
SHOPPING CENTER)
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking On a
portion of Grand Avenue, as specifically described below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, as follows:
That a "No Parking" zone be established on the
northerly frontage of Grand Avenue extending
from a point 130 feet east of the centerline
of the intersection of Grand Avenue and Courtland
Street easterly to a point on the northerly right
of way line, 612 feet easterly of the centerline
of the intersection of Grand Avenue and Courtland
Street. This Resolution shall supersede
Resolutions No. 1682 and 1687.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs
and/or markings to indicate said No Parking zone.
On motion of Council Member Mi II is , seconded by Council Member Hogan,
and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Hogan, Vandeveer and Mayor Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: Counci Imen Gallagher and /'Ii 11 is
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 24th day of July 1984.
