R 1741 .-- RESOLUTION NO. 1741 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE APPROVING A USE PERMIT, APPLIED FOR BY CN SIGNS AND GRAPHICS FOR A FREE STANDING SIGN IN THE "P-D" PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has considered an application for a Free Standing Sign at 850 Oak Park Boulevard in the IIP_DII Planned Development District; and WHEREAS, the Council finds that, after due study, deliberation and Public Hearing, the following circumstances exist: 1. Permitted use within the District subject to obtaining a Use Permit. 2. Would not adversely affect abutting properties. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande hereby approves said Use Permit (Planning Department Case No. 83'355) subject to the following conditions: 1. Sign height limited to 30 ft. 2. Sign to be located at the West end of the property (Oak Park Frontage). 3. Reader board, not exceeding 6 ft. in height, may be separated from main sign and placed near entrance to the Inn. On motion by Council Member Vandeveer, seconded by Council Member Gallagher, and by the following roll call vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Vandeveer, Gallagher, Millis and Mayor Smith NOES: Councilman Hogan ABSENT: None the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 24th day of January 1984. iJfi1uJ~ MAYOR ATTEST: I, Virginia L.
