A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA,
ADOPTING FEES FOR THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA "INTERIN SCHOOL
FACJLITIES ORDINANCE"
HHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has adopted
Ord'inance No. 306 C.S., known as the "Interim School Facilities Ordinance"; and
HHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has received from
Lucia Milr School District a complete notice of overcrowding and has conducted a
public hearing on the matter; and
WHEREAS, Section 3-6.08 of Ordinance 306 C.S. provides for the adoption of
a schedule of fees required to be paid by developers; and
~JHEREAS .
A. The cost of a relocatable has been determined to be $49,950.
B. The classroom size has been determined to be 28.5.
C. The cost per student per relocatable has been determined to be
$1,752.63.
D. The student density per average City of Arroyo Grande dwelling unit
has been determined to be .40. .
E. The average student cost for an average City of Arroyo Grande dwelling
unit has been determined to be $701.05.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
1. The City Council concurs in the School District's findings based upon
evidence provided at public hearing; and
2. The following schedule of fees shall be effective February 10, 1984:
0-1 Bedroom Dwelling Unit, 849 square feet or less. $300.00
0-1 Bedroom Dwelling Unit, 850 square feet or greater. $500.00
2 Bedroom Dwelling Unit, 1349 square feet or less. $500.00
2 Bedroom Dwelling Unit, 1350 square feet or greater. $700.00
3 Bedroom Dwelling Unit, 1949 square feet or less. $700.00
3 Bedroom Dwelling Unit, 1950 square feet or greater. $900.00
4 or more 8edroom Dwelling Unit, regardless of square footage. $900.00
3. This schedule of fees shall not apply to residential development build-
ing permit applications which are accepted by the Building Inspector
as complete applications prior to February 10. 1984 so long as:
A. The Building Inspector approves the submitted application; and,
B. The Applicant pays for t~e ~uilding permit within ten days. after
written notice by the BUlldlng Inspector that the applicatlon
has been approved.
