RESOLUTION NO. 1719
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLI SH I NG A 'INO PARKI NG"
ZONE ON A PORTION OF GRAND AVENUE (601 & 611
GRAND AVENUE).
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirab1e to prohibit parking on a
portion of Grand Avenue, as specifically described below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande, as follows:
That a "No Parking" zone be established on the souther1y frontage
of Grand Avenue extending from a point 175 feet west of the
center1ine of the intersection of Grand Avenue and Bel1 Street
easter1y to a point on the southerly right of way line, 50 feet
easterly of the centerline of the intersection of Grand Avenue
and Be1l Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs
and/or markings to indicate said no parking zone.
On motion of Council Member Gallagher, seconded by Council Member
Millis , and on the f01lowing ro11 ca11 vote, to wit:
AYES: Counci1men Ga11agher, Mi11is and Mayor Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilmen Vandeveer, Hogan
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 23rd day of August 1983.
