5.CONSIDERATION OF ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION PURSUANT TO PUBLIC
CONTRACT CODE SECTION 20168 FINDING THAT AN EMERGENCY EXISTS
WITHIN THE CITY AND AUTHORIZING CONTRACTING WITHOUT A COMPETITIVE
SOLICITATION FOR BIDS PURSUANT TO PUBLIC CONTRACT CODE SECTION
22050 FOR THE OAK PARK BOULEVARD AND EL CAMINO REAL EMERGENCY
STORM DRAIN SYSTEM REPAIR PROJECT (PW 2020-04)
Recommended Action: 1) Adopt a Resolution finding that an emergency exists within the
City and authorizing contracting without a competitive solicitation for bids; and 2) Authorize
the City Manager, or designee, to execute a contract with CalPortland Construction.
6. ADJOURNMENT to the Regular City Council Meeting of January 28, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. in
the Council Chambers located at 215 E. Branch Street.
