RES OLUTI ON NO . 1689
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A POLICY TO
PROHIBIT LEFT TURNS ONTO BRANCH STREET FROM
THE INTERSECTING ROADS OF BRIDGE STREET AND
NEVADA STREETS
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit 1eft
turns onto Branch Street, as more particu1ar1y described be1ow.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counci1 of the City
of Arroyo Grande as f0110ws:
Left turns onto Branch Street are prohibited from the
intersecting roads known as Bridge Street and Nevada Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of P01ice of the City
of Arroyo Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install
sufficient signs and/or markings to indicate said prohibition of said left
turns.
On motion of Council Member Ga11agher, seconded by Council
Member Vandeveer, and on the f0110wing rol1 ca11 vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Vandeveer, Gallagher, Mi1tis,
Mayor Smith
NOES: Councit Member Hogan
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 22nd day of February, 1983.
