RESOLUTION NO. 1687
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLI SH I NG A "NO PARKI NG"
ZONE ON A PORTION OF GRAND AVENUE
. WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit
parking on a portion of Grand Avenue , as specifically described below~
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Arroyo Grande, as follows:
That a "No Parking" zone be established on the northerly
frontage of Grand Avenue extending from a point 526 feet
east of the centerline of the intersection of Courtland
Drive and Grand Avenue to a point on the northerly right
of way line 596 feet easterly of the centerline of the
intersection of Courtland Drive and Grand Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City
of Arroyo Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install
sufficient signs and/or markings to indicate said no parking zone.
On motion of Council Member Vandeveer, seconded by Council
Member Hogan, and on the foilowing roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Vandeveer, Gallagher, Millis, Hogan,
Mayor Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 22nd day of February, 1983.
