RESOLUTION NO. 1682
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABU SH I NG A "NO PARK I NG"
ZONE ON A PORTION OF GRAND AVENUE (LUCKY/PAYLESS
SHOPPING CENTER)
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirabte to prohibit parking
on a portion of Grand Avenue, as specificatly described below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counci 1 of the City
of Arroyo Grande, as fottows:
That a "No Parking" zone be established on the northerty
frontage of Grand Avenue extending from a point 278 feet
east of the centerline of the intersection of Grand Avenue
and Courttand Street easterty to a pof~t on the northerly
right of way line, 358 feet easterly of thecentertine
of the intersection of r,rand Avenue and Courttand Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the C~ief of Police of the City of
Arroyo Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and instatl sufficient
signs and/or markings to indicate said no parking zone.
On motion of Council Member Hogan, seconded by Council Member
Millis, and on the fotlowing rott catt vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Vandeveer, Gattagher, Millis, Hogan, Mayor Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resotution was passed and adopted this 28th day of December, 1982.
