A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABlI SH I NG A "NO PARKI NG"
ZONE ON A PORTION OF SOUTH ELM STREET
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking
on a portion of South Elm Street, as specifically described below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Arroyo Grande, as follows:
That a "No Parking" zone be established on the easterly
frontage of South Elm Street extending from a point at
the intersection of Farroll Avenue and South Elm Street
southerly to a point on the easterly right of way line
773 feet southerly of the southerly right of way line
for Farroll Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of
Arroyo Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient
signs and/or markings to indicate said no parking zone.
On motion of Council Member Hogan , seconded by Council
Member Millis ,and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Vandeveer, Millis, and Hogan, Mayor Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Gallagher
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 26th day of October, 1982.
