RESOLUTION NO. 1663

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT
OF A PORTION OF A SEWER LINE EASEMENT NORTHERLY
OF WEST BRANCH STREET AND EASTERLY OF OAK PARK
BOULEVARD (STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE SECTION 8323, ET SEQ.)
WHEREAS, the CIty Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has elected
to p'roceed under provisIons of Streets and Highways Code Section 8321, et seq.,
and in accordance with the provIsIons thereof, by resolution, the Arroyo
Grande City CouncIl set the time and place for public hearing for the
vacatIon of saId portion of sewer line at 8:00 P.M., August 24, 1982, In
the Arroyo Grande CIty CouncIl Chambers; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found, on the basis of the evidence
produced at the public hearIng, that the hereInafter descrIbed portIon of
publIc sewer line Is unnecessary for present or future publIc purposes.
I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the hereInafter described
Arroyo Grande City sewerllne be abandoned and It Is so ordered.
That portion of a 15 foot wide sewer line easement recorded In
Book 2002, Page 472 of Official Records of San Luis Obispo County,
lyIng withIn the boundary lines of Parcel A, of Parcel Map No.
AG 81-108, as recorded In Book 30 of Parcel Maps, at Page 94,
Records of saId County and more particularly descrIbed as follows:

BegInning at the most northerly corner of said Parcel A;
i thence south 640 54' 29" east aTong the northeasterly line of
,
said Parcel A, a distance of 54.41 feet to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING; thence leaving saId northeasterly line of Parcel A
along the centerline of the existIng 15 foot wide sewer line
easement, 7.50 feet on each side, the following courses:
South 450 38' 49" west, 228.70 feet; thence south 300 00' 00"
west, 359.28 feet to a point In the northWesterly line of
said Parcel A, from which an angle poInt In saId northwesterly
line of Parcel A bears north 5?0 29' 23" west, 15.69 feet.
Excepting therefrom those portIons lying within the two sewer
easement parcels dedicated to the City of Arroyo Grande as
shown on Parcel Map No. AG 82-36 as recorded on Book
of Parcel Maps, at Page , Records of saId County.
Note: The sidelines of that portion of the existing 15 foot
wide sewer line easement recorded in Book 2002, Page 472 of
i Official Records shall be lengthened or shortened in order
to terminate at the northeasterly and northwesterly lines of
said Parcel A of Parcel Map No. AG 81-108.
On motion of Council Member Vandeveer , seconded by Council Member
Gallagher , and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council/iembers Vandeveer, Gallagher, Millis, Hogan, Mayor Smith
NOES None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 24th day of August, 1982.
