I commend the lock step response of the local, state and federal government in dealing with
the covid-19 potential emergency. But as the data and numbers are now at an analyzable point,
they show this isnt an emergency. Covid-19 has a death rate around 2% and transmission of
about 2 people per person. Please see informationisbeautiful.net THIS ISNT A 50% DEATH
RATE LIKE EBOLA OR A 9 PERSON TRANSMISSION RATE PER PERSON LIKE THE
CHICKENPOX. That would be an emergency. All governmental emergency powers need to
be rescinded ASAP. What may be an emergency is a lack of planning by society for the baby
boomer population as they come to the point of needing more hospital care. And if thats the
case, lets rename the emergency and deal with it using our normal democratic process and not
