RESOLUTI ON NO. 1556 .
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE SETTING FORTH ITS INTENTION
TO VACATE AND ABANDON A PORTION OF A SEWER LINE
EASEMENT NORTHERLY OF WEST BRANCH STREET AND
EASTERLY OF OAK PARK BOULEVARD, IN THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE, AND FIXING TIME AND PLACE FOR
HEARING AS PROVIDED BY GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION
50430, ET SEQ.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande elects
to proceed with the vacation and abandonment of a portion of a sewer line
easement northerly of West Branch Street and easterly of Oak Park Boulevard,
pursuant to Section 50437 of the Government Code of the State of California;
and
WHEREAS, it appears that said portion of sewer line is unnecessary
for present or prospective public use; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the abandonment is for the best interests
of the public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE that it Intends to vacate and abandon the hereinafter described
sewer line, In the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State
of Ca Ii forn i a. For this purpose, the City Council will hold a public hearing
in connection with said intention to vacate and abandon the hereinafter
described portion of sewer line, which hearing will be held in the Council
Chambers, 215 East Branch Street, Arroyo Grande, California, on the 24th day
of August, 1982 at the hour of 8:00 P.M. At said time, those persons
Interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation and abandonment may
appear and be heard.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the &ity Clerk of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and is herewith directed to cause to be posted along said portion
of the sewer line on West Branch Street at intervals not to exceed three
hundred feet (300') in distance apart and at least three (3) in number on
said road, notices of passage of Resolution, which said notices shall be

In addition thereto, the City Clerk is herewith ordered and directed
to CaUse a copy of said Resolution to be published at least two successive
weeks prior to the hearing In the Five Cities Tlmes-Press-Recorder, a
semi-weekly newspaper published and circulated In the City of Arroyo Grande,
whIch publication shall be at least ten (10) days prior to the date of
said hearing.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the portion of sewer line easement,
which the City of Arroyo Grande proposes to vacate and abandon, is more
particularly described as follows:
That portion of a 15 foot wide sewer line easement recorded in
Book 2002, Page 472 of Official Records of San Luis Obispo County,
lying within the boundary lines of Parcel A, of Parcel Map No.
AG 81-108, as recorded In Book 30 of Parcel Maps, at Page 94,
Records of said County and more particularly described as follows:
