RESOLUTION NO. 1547
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A "NO PARKING'.
ZONE ON A PORTION OF GRAND AVENUE
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking
on a portion of Grand Avenue, as specifically described below:
NOW, THEREFOREt BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande, as follows:
That a "No Parking" zone be established on the northerly frontage
of Grand Avenue extending from a point at the intersection of
Grand Avenue and Elm Street westerly to aipolnt on the northerly
right of way line 130 feet westerly of the westerly right of
way line for North Elm Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of
Arroyo Grande bet and is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient
signs and/or markings to indicate said no parking zone.
On motion of Council Member Gallagher, seconded by Council Member
Vandeveer, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Vandeveer, Gallagher, Millis, Hogan, Mayor Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 22nd day of June, 1982.
