RESOLUTION N0. 1545
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A "NO PARKING"
ZONE ON A PORTION OF COURTLAND STREET
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking
on a portion of Courtland Street, as specifically described below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Arroyo Grande as follows:
That a "No Parking" zone be established on the westerly frontage
of Courtland Street extending from a point at the intersection
of Grand Avenue and Courtland Street northerly to a point on
the Courtland Street right of way, 771 feet north of the
northerly right of way line of Grand Avenue, also known as
the southerly right of way line for Brighton Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of
Arroyo Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient
signs and /or markings to indicate said no parking zone.
On motion of Council Member Hogan, seconded by Council Member
Vandeveer, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Vandeveer, Gallagher, Millis, Hogan, Mayor Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 22nd day of June, 1982.
