RESOLUTION NO. 1536
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE RECOGNIZING THE ASSiSTANCE
OF THE COUNTY CLERK'S OFFICE IN THE GENERAL
MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD APRIL 13, 1982
WHEREAS, the cities of Arroyo Grande, Grover City, and Pismo Beach
held a general municipal e1ection on April 13, 1982; and
WHEREAS, the County C1erk's Office conducted the e1ections class
for the respective cities' e1ectlon workers; and
WHEREAS, Francis M, Cooney and George Tays provided support,
gu i dance, and expert I,se throughout a 11 of the techn i ca 1 requ i rements, p 1 ann i ng
and coordination of the e1ectlon; and
WHEREAS, their assistance Inc1uded mora1 support and advice,
without remuneration, during the computation of the returns on e1ection night
to the City Clerks of the cities of Arroyo Grande, Grover City, and Pismo
Beach; ,and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City C1erk and the City
Council of the City of Arroyo Grande does recognize the outstanding assistance
of the County C1erk and Staff of the County of San Luis Obispo.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this res01ution
be presented to the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Luis Obispo.
