A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A LIMITED PARKING
ZONE ON A PORTION OF SOUTH HALCYON ROAD TO PROHIBIT
PARKING ON WEEKDAYS BETWEEN 8:00 A.M. AND 5:30 P.M.
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking
on a portion of South Halcyon Road, as specifically described below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Arroyo Grande, as follows:
That a "limited Parking" zone to prohibit parking on weekdays
between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:30 P.M. be established
on the easterly frontage of South Halcyon Road extending
from a point along the easterly right of way line from a point
115 feet south of the intersection of South Halcyon Road with
the southerly right of way parkway extending a10ng said
easter1y right of way line of South Ha1cyon Road a 1ength of
121.98 feet to a point which lies 236.98 feet southerly of
said intersection of South Ha1cyon Road with the souther1y
right of way of parkway.
This Resolution supersedes Resolution No~ 1522, adopted February 9, 1982.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Po1ice of the City of
Arroyo Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient
signs and/or markings to indicate said no parking zone.
On motion of Council Member Hogan, seconded by Counci1 Member
Smith, and on the f0110wing ro11 ca11 vote, to wit:
AYES: Counci1 Members Smith, Hogan, Millis, Vandeveer, Mayor Pope
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 13th day of April, 1982.
