RESOLUTION NO. 1526
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DESIGNATING A MUNICIPAL
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS OFFICER
WHEREAS, on January 17, 1971, the City Counci1 adopted Resolution
No. 919 adopting Ru1es and Regulations Regarding Employer-Employee Relations;
and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 919, Section 12 states "The City Council
shall designate, by Res01utlon, Munlclpa1 Emp10yee Relations Officer who
shal1 be the City's princlpa1 representative in a11 matters of employer-
employee relations, with authority to meet and confer in good faith on
matters within the scope of representation inc1uding wages, hours and
other terms and conditions of employment."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counci1 of the City
of Arroyo Grande that the City Administrator Is hereby designated as
Munlclpa1 Emp10yee Relations Officer.
On motion of Counci1 Member Hogan, seconded by Counci1 Member
Mll1ls, and on the fol1owlng roll cal1 vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Smith, Hogan, M111is, Vandeveer, Mayor Pope
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Res01ution was passed and adopted this 9th day of March, 1982.
