RESOLUTION NO.3 3 1 6
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE CITY COUNCIL
DECLARING AS SURPLUS AND REQUESTING AUTHORIZATION
TO SELL SKATEBOARD RAMPS AND LUMBER/MASONITE.
WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande owns four skate ramps that were built two years
ago; and
WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande owns lumber/masonite which was intended to be
used to build additional skate ramps; and
WHEREAS, the ramps have not been used in two years; and
WHEREAS) the City is financially cooperating with the Cities of Grover Beach, and
Pismo Beach, and the County of San Luis Obispo to build a concrete skatepark in
Grover Beach; and
WHEREAS, the City has no plans for use of either the ramps or the lumber/masonite;
and
WHEREAS, the Santa Maria Valley Y.M.C.A has offered $300 for the ramps and the
lumber/masonite.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, California as follows:
The four skate ramps and lumber/masonite are declared to be surplus
(Exhibit A) and staff is authorized to sell said surplus to the Santa Maria
Valley YMCA for $300.00.
On motion of Council Member Runels , seconded by Council Member
Fuller , and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Runels, Fuller, Lady, Tolley, and Mayor Dougall
