RESOLUTION NO.3 3 1 7
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING SALARY
RANGES FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF BUILDING AND
FIRE DIVISION CHIEF, DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
WORKS ASSOCIATE ENGINEER, AND DEPARTMENT
OF PARKS AND RECREATION FACILITY
COORDINATOR
WHEREAS, the City Council is authorized by law to establish appointment positions
and compensation levels for said positions as it deems necessary to effectively operate
municipal services; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City of Arroyo
Grande to establish salary ranges for the positions of Department of Building and Fire
Division Chief, Department of Public Works Associate Engineer, and Department of
Parks and Recreation Facility Coordinator.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande does hereby resolve
as follows:
1. There is hereby established a salary range of $4,244 - $5,159 monthly (Range
47 -Management) for the position of Fire Division Chief.
2, There is hereby established a salary range of $3,517 - $4,275 monthly (Range
39-General Unit) for the position of Associate Engineer.
3. There is hereby established a salary range of $1,945 - $2,363 monthly (Range
15-General Unit) for the position of Facility' Coordinator.
On motion of Council Member Runels, seconded by Council MemberFuller , and
on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Member Runels, Fuller, Lady, Tolley, and Mayor Dougall
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
The foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 11 th day of August, 1998.
