RESOLUTION NO. 1494
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE AUTHORIZING THE AMENDING OF
THE HANDICAPPED JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, during this year's Unmet Transit Needs Hearing,
it was determined by the Council of Governments that transit be implemented
between the cities of San Luis Obispo and Atascadero; and
WHEREAS, it was further determined that the Regional
Transit Manager be responsible for implementation of the service; and I
WHEREAS. the transportation service will' be on a one-year
trial basis; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Arroyo Grande, that the Handicapped Joint 'Powers Agreement be
amended to include that transit be implemented between the cities of
San Luis Obispo and Atascadero.

Member Hogan, and on the following rol1 ca11 vote. to wit:
AYES: Council Members Hogan, Millis, Vandeveer, Mayor Pope
NOES: Council Member Smith
ABSENT: None
