RESOLUTION NO. 1484
A RESOLUTION QF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING THE VALUE OF
OFF-STREET PARKING SPACES IN COMMERCIAL AREAS
PURSUANT'TO MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 9-4.2603
WHEREAS, Arroyo Grande Municipal Code Section 9-4.2603 provides
that the Arroyo Grande City Council adopt a resolution of policy setting
forth the value of off-street parking spaces based on land value and
not less than one-half of the construction cost for grading said
parking spaces for commercial areas within the City; and
WHEREAS, the Parking and Business Improvement Advisory Board,
at its special meeting of May 27, 1981, investigated said value; and
WHEREAS, the Arroyo Grande Parking and Business Improvement
Advisory Board has recommended that the value of off-street parking
spaces be set at $3,000 per space;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved by the City Council of
the City of Arroyo Grande that the value of each off-street parking space
in commercial areas within the City of Arroyo Grande be establiShed
at $3,000 for purposes of issuance of "in-lieu" certificates provided
for in Municipal Code Section 9-4.2603.
On motion of Council Member Smith, seconded by Counc.i1 Member
Vandeveer, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Smith, Hogan, Millis, Vandeveer, Mayor Pope
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 23rd day of June, 1981.
