RESOLUTION NO. 1456
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A BQULEVARD STOP
SIGN AT THE INTERSECTION OF BRIGHTON AVENUE AT
COURTLAND STREET
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to establish a boulevard
stop sign at the intersection of Brighton Avenue at Courtland Street,
as more particularly described below;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF I
ARROYO GRANDE, AS FOLLOWS:
That a stop sign be established on Brighton Avenue on the
northeast corner of Brighton Avenue and Courtland Street
intersection so as to stop west bound traffic on Brighton
Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of
Arroyo Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install a
sufficient sign.!and/or marking to indicate said stop signs.
On motion of Council Member Smith, seconded by Council Member Millis,
and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Smith, Hogan, Millis and Mayor Pope
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Vandeveer
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 10th day of February,
1981.
