RESOLUTION NO. 1448
A RESOLUTI ON OF THE CITY COUNC I L OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING CERTAIN
OF ITS MEMBERS TO FILE A WRITTEN ARGUMENT
REGARDING A CITY MEASURE
WHEREAS, a special municipal election is to be held in the
City of ArroyolGrande, California, on March 3, 1981, at which there will
be submitted to the qualified electors of said City, within the concerned
area only, the following measure:
SHALL THE ORDER ADOPTED ON OCTOBER 14, 1980 BY THE I
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE ORDERING
THE ANNEXATION TO SAID CITY OF THE TERRITORY DESCRIBED
IN SAID ORDER AND DESIGNATED AS "EL CAMINO REAL NO. 1
ANNEXAT I ON TO TH E CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE" BE CONF I RMED?
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That this City Council, being the legislative
body of the City of Arroyo Grande hereby authorizes
HUGH O. POPE, JR.
LAWRENCE E. VANDEVEER
MARK M. MI LLI S
BlANN SMITH
KARL A. HOGAN
members of said body, to file a written argument (in favor of/against) the City
measure set forth in the recitals hereof in accordance with Article 4,
Chapter 3, Division 5 of the Elections Code of the State of California and
to change said argument until and including the date fixed by the City Clerk
after which no arguments for or against said City measure may be submitted
to the City Clerk.
PASSED AND ADOPTED ON December 9, 1980.
