RESOLUn ON NO. 1438
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE ADOPTING THE AMENDED LAND USE ELEMENT
OF THE GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande has
prepared a General Plan Report together with a General Plan Map and has adopted
the amended Land Use Element of the General Plan; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 65501, et seq., the
City Council gave required notice and did hold a public hearing on October 14,
1980, for the purpose of considering the adoption of the amended Land Use
r Element of the General Plan report and map, and at which public hearing the
amended Land Use Element report and map were displayed, ,explained and reported
,
l upon; and
WHEREAS, said Land Use Element of the General Plan report and map
are necessary for sound future community deve~opment, the preservation of
community values, and the promotion of general health, safety, convenience, and
welfare of the citizens of the City of Arroyo Grande; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has a responsibility
to plan for the desirable future growth and development of the City of Arroyo
Grande.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECn ON I: The City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande does
hereby find and determine that the public interest, convenience and necessity
require that the amended Land Use Element of the General Plan report and map
be adopted in the manner incorporated herein:
That the Land Use Element of the General Plan recognize the
below listed properties as changed from Medium Density
Residential to High Density Residential.
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, II, 12, 13 and 14, a II in block
2B-A of the Beckett's Crown Hill Addition to the Town of
Ar royo Grande, in the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis
Obispo, State of California, According to the Map Recorded
June 19, 1905 in Book A, Page 57 of Haps in the Office of the
County Recorder of said County and more particularly set forth
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
SECn ON 2: The City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande does hereby
adopt the amended Land Use Element of the General Plan together with the
maps and descriptive material.
On motion of Council Member Hogan. seconded by Council Member Vandeveer,
I and on the following roll caT) vote, to wit:
AVES: Council Members Hogan. Millis, Vandeveer, and Mayor Pope
NOES: Council Member Smith
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution vias passed and adopted this Pith day of October, 1980.
