RESOLUTION NO. 1431
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE HONORING SUPERVISOR HANS
HEILMANN UPON HIS RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, SUPERVISOR HANS HE1LMANN will be celebrating his Retirement
as Supervisor of the First District of San Luis Obispo County on November 22,
1980, and
WHEREAS, SUPERVISOR HEILMANN has always administered his position
. with professionalism, efficiency, and dedication, and
WHEREAS, SUPERVISOR HEILMANN has been a resident of the Atascadero I
area for sixty-six years and is one of a four-brother business partnership
on the family ranch; was first elected as First District Supervisor in
January 1965 and has'served as Chairman of the Board in 1968, 1970, 1974,
1976, and 1979, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande is appreciative
of SUPERVISOR HEILMANN'S dedication to the citizens of his district and all
of San Luis Obispo County; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande wishes to take
this opportunity to express itself toward this end.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
That it recognizes the accomplishments and retirement of HANS HEILMANN
as Su~ervisor of the First District of San Luis Obispo County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande wishes continued health and contentment to HANS HEILMANN in his
retirement.
On motion of Council Member Millis, seconded by Council Member
Hogan, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Smith, Hogan, Millis, Vandeveer, and Mayor Pope
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 14th day of October, 1980.
