RESOLUTION NO. 1413
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE INSTRUCTING THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS TO
ORDER THE CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE SIDEWALKS, AND IM-
PROVEMENTS FOR THE PROPER FUNCTI ON I NG OF THE INSTALLED
SIDEWALKS, (STREETS & HIGHWAYS SECTION 5870, ET SEQ.):
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets of the City of Arroyo Grande has
reported to the City Council that more than fifty percent (50%) of concrete
sidewalks are installed on the following block:
East side of Walnut Street between Ash Street and
Fair Oaks Avenue; also identified as Assessor's
~ Parcel No. 77-192-05.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE, AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Council hereby finds, in accordance with the report of
said Superintendent of Streets, and instructs said officer to notify the owners
or persons in possession of the properties fronting on those portions of Walnut
Street, as listed above, in which no concrete sidewalks have been constructed
. theretofore, to construct, or cause to be constructed, concrete sidewalks in
front of his said prop~rty, and the improvements for the proper functioning of
the installed s~dewalks.
On motion of Council Member Hogan, seconded by Council Member Vandeveer
and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Smith, Hogan, Vandeveer, Millis and Mayor Pope
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the fo~egoing Resolution was passed and 1980.
